About Us

Mexican Candy Lady bio

Born and raised in Indio, California, I didn't know very much about Mexican culture until I met my husband who is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. We had two beautiful sons and decided to move to El Paso, TX to be closer to his family.

Once in El Paso, my kids and I were able to travel to Chihuahua and we fell in love. Going to the candy stores and seeing huge barrels of candy and snacks in flavors I had never heard of. In that moment I wanted to try everything LOL. 


The experience I had in the Chihuahua candy store was the motivation behind opening my online shop. I would  like to provide that same experience and taste of Mexico to everyone in the states. I hope that you can enjoy a little piece of Mexico as much as we do.

Absolutely !!!  All products are guaranteed fresh with long use by dates. Please note that dates printed on the package go by day/month/year.

 Our standard processing time is 3 to 5 business days, Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm. Once your order ships you will receive a tracking number to the email provided at checkout. Listed below are normal transit times based on courier. Depending on the method you select at checkout, transit times can vary. Holiday season may impact transit time.

  • Free Shipping/USPS Priority Mail: 2-5 business days.
  • First Class Shipping: 2-7  business days.

We use USPS First Class parcel service for any orders that are 16 oz or lighter. This option takes 2-7 business days to be delivered.. Unfortunately USPS does not allow parcels that are over a certain weight to use this service.  

Flat Rate Shipping: $6.95

Lost / Damaged / Stolen Candy:

Mexican Candy Lady cannot be held responsible for products that are stolen, damaged, or lost since after the package leaves our warehouse, it is out of our control, and under the responsibility of the mail carrier. All claims must be filed by you (we will help) with the delivery service when the package is marked delivered by delivery service. Mexican Candy Lady will not honor any claims for items marked delivered by the delivery company.  Mexican Candy Lady will assist you with claims for packages that are lost by the delivery company but cannot be held responsible for delivery which is not controlled by Mexican Candy Lady. During transit, some of your items may break - this is just the nature of shipping and cannot be controlled by us.  We are not responsible for broken products. Mexican Candy Lady will not be able to refund you for products where you provided us an incorrect mailing address or where the package is returned to us marked address unknown or package unclaimed.  Please be sure to send package where you know you will be able to accept delivery (at your office or home where a household member will be able to accept). Make sure your address is correct before submitting your order. Consider adding United States Postal Service Signature Conformation for the added protection.  

Order Issue

Please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order with any issues you may have. Please email us at info@mexicancandylady.com with your name, order number and pictures of any damages that may have occurred in transit for a possible replacement. If you do not like a product you purchased, that is out of our control and we will not issue a refund or store credit. Please know that Mexican flavors and texture are different then what you may be use to.  

Returned Packages

Mexican Candy Lady is not responsible for returned packages due to incomplete addresses, wrong addresses, and/or if the delivery service is unable to deliver. A refund minus all shipping costs will be issued for returned packages.

We use USPS for international shipping. If you'd like to use a different carrier, please send us a message prior to placing your order.  Arrival time can take anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks depending on your region.

All Customers outside of the U.S. are subject to customs/ duty fees from the post office upon delivery. This is completely out of our control and those fees are paid to customs directly.  PLEASE NOTE: NON- US CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DUTY OR CUSTOMS FEES, WHICH MAY BE COLLECTED UPON THE DELIVERY OF YOUR PACKAGE.
